akuma4u
Hey i got a 2016 avh 5800 double din receiver. What i notice is this: the volume goes up to 40. When changing from volume 39 to 40 there is a huge difference in output. Like it almost sounds as if it jumps up an entire voltage point. It doesnt do this anywhere else in the volume spectrum except from 39 to max volume 40. In fact it sounds best at 40 but i hate the fact i have to have the deck maxed out in order for it to sound great. And no this isnt an issue of gain. Has anyone else noticed this?? Mitchaford
My old JVC unit used to do this. Was only 3v maxed out at volume 40 but at 19 to 20 it would go jump crazy with output. Cant do anything about it. If its clean thats all that matters really. 2008 VW Jetta Team Fi 12 CT 4000.1 CT 125.4 PWX 6.5 80 PRS EB Flex 2/0 Second Skin ^^^ Build ^^^
jonik1
It's like that with 5600 and 5700 also. 37/40 is clean if your subwoofer level is +6, 40/40 when 0. youtube.com/jonik1
TRaGiK53
I had the AVH4800 up until a week ago. It clipped at 40, but not at 39. Verified with a DD1.
