Blake21
Anybody used or heard of c&d technologies model 400, it's 102ah like 200$ online, they sound like a great deal but didn't know if there good for car audio.
tboorn
a few people i know and myself have used them. they work fine, theres better but for the money they work pretty well. IIRC we were getting them for like $90 for the 113ah, but we had the hook up. if you can get them cheap its worth it. but batteries alone is only a band-aid for your electrical if your trying to run more power than the alt can handle. Blake21
Awesome, I may pick up a few found some used ones for cheap, I've bought a better alternator now just need to work on my battery reserve. What is the better alternative for the price
ChevyBoy95
C&D AGM's are pretty decent if you just need raw reserve capability, they were going around a few years ago for like 80-100 a piece which made them great for the little guy trying to go big (from back up banks that are sold after a few years for new batteries and were never worked hard). I used to have 6 that served me very well. The ones I always saw people use were the UPS12-XXXMR series where XXX was the size, 300, 400, 490, etc. Best Score to Date : 160.5 dB Outlaw (47Hz)[4 XM 15's & 2 Taramps Bass 12k's] BL : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/147800-chevyboy95s-4-15s-7krms-wall-1533-db-on-half-power/YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/hitemwiththeflex/
Blake21
I'm probably gonna pick up a 400 model 103ah tomorrow for 80 bucks, I hope it's good said it's sitting at 12.8 volts, should help with some reserve.
