IDK LoL, itll work fine and idk the exact saying but your suppose to run the same batteries in the same condition otherwise one of the two will drain the other out or something like that, but if the yellows in good condition it should work fine

im planning on connecting my front yellowtop to a hc2400 that i will put at the back.

do i also need to run a negative wire from the yellowtop to the hc2400?

I was wondering about this also. I have my stock battery under the hood and a hc1800 behind my passenger seat. I hear some people say it is okay but, others say that the battery technologies do not work well together. Also, I am wondering if mixing battery technologies is hard on my alternator. Thanks

It is recommend to run a negative i have basically the same setup as you have. 1 Yellow top under the hood and 1 HC2400 in the rear 1 run of 0/1 negative and 1 run of 0/1 positive
