Now that car is sold and got an 06 land rover range rover. My dad and want want to c pillar wall it 4 15 probably team fi on 20k. My question is how many runs of positve and negative shoukd I need? Kyblack76 Posted June 30, 2017 Report Share Posted June 30, 2017 How big of an alt brotha, the amperage your gonna have on tap = amount of wire to carry it proper. With one good HO, 2 hot runs, fused proper would do ya. A 3rd wouldn't hurt. A NEG run front to rear is a bit up to you. Grounded at the rear bank to frame should suffice. Range Rovers of this era are notoriously difficult to add alternators to. You may want to re-think. Buy an old K5 Blazer or Bronco and have at it.
