Opinions PSI platform3 18 vs SSA Evil 18

New to the site although I'm not new to car audio. Just a question for those who have had experience with or preference with the 2 subs. Given a net of 6.5ft3/32hz tuning and around 3500 to 4krms daily. Which between the PSI platform3 18 or the SSA Evil 18. I'm looking at pros and cons. I see the psi has almost double the xmax of the ssa and the sensitivity is much higher. Power handling is somewhat similar, both work well in small ported enclosures,

mags on the ssa are bigger. High performance package on the psi puts it about $100 cheaper than the ssa. What are your thoughts between the 2?

Both great subs for the price.  Dont pay attention to sensitivity, its one of the most inaccurately reported TS Parameters.

I happen to have PSI Platform 2's that run great and take a beating, but I've seen countless other build logs running SSA Evils.  Build your self a great box with proper port area and you may not notice a difference between the two.

Based on the electrical Q and Vas, I would bargain to bet the Evils are better in a 4th order and that the PSIs are better in a ported.

Start a build log with whatever sub you choose so we can see how it turned out for you.
