Mids and highs stage question

Recommended Posts

Im transitioning my mids and highs to pro audio. The amp is a ct sounds 6 channel 250 watts per channel at 2 ohms, and i am toying with 2 4 ohm 6.5s in parallel or 4 8 ohm 6.5s in parallel. My question is what are people generally happier with, spread the power over more cone area or run max rms per driver?

I would say run over max rms and keep the gain low to keep it clean but I am only running one set of comps. Tuned in for answers.
