The amp is a ct sounds 6 channel 250 watts per channel at 2 ohms, and i am toying with 2 4 ohm 6.5s in parallel or 4 8 ohm 6.5s in parallel. My question is what are people generally happier with, spread the power over more cone area or run max rms per driver?

06RTCharger Posted August 29, 2017 Report Posted August 29, 2017 My simple noob logic tells me 1 speaker matched with 100W rms power would be louder than 2 of the same speakers with 50W rms. Im sure it can be way more complicated than that tho.
