I have a Skar 500.1D and can attest it puts out beyond rated.  Very pleased with it.  Small footprint, more than enough for my Sundown SD-8 to sound great.  Skar's customer service was quick and attentive when I had an issue with my first amp from them.  They treated me very well and I'd buy from them again.
