  1. Does that drop off stay relative across all sizes of wire? So if it's 12% on the 1/0 is that also the case on 4 or 8 gauge, or does it even get worse with smaller wires? I don't know enough about this to have a good guess. I should ask my electrical engineer brother...
  2. I've had 2 Accords similar to that, and they're nearly impossible to kill. The body will fall off the frame before the engine and transmission quit. (here where it snows a lot anyhow...)
  3. I want to watch a video of it running at 1 ohm for an extended period to see if A) it will keep running and B ) just how hot will it get? That's pretty crazy if it can sustain that somehow. I suspect not for very long though.
  4. I never would've considered these amps back in the day. RF and Phoenix Gold had caught my eye (heart...wallet...) and there was nothing else in the world. Nice to find one still working, and working well. I DON'T miss those screw type terminals. AT ALL. Why did it take them so long to come up with something better? Sigh.
  5. I have a Skar 500.1D and can attest it puts out beyond rated. Very pleased with it. Small footprint, more than enough for my Sundown SD-8 to sound great. Skar's customer service was quick and attentive when I had an issue with my first amp from them. They treated me very well and I'd buy from them again.
  6. I'm with you on that. I'd run one too. In a heartbeat. No shame to that game with what it is putting out.
  7. My curiosity is whether it'll go into a protect mode or burn down. Protect mode and save itself further adds to the value of this amp that's producing frankly staggering numbers at that price point. Ridiculous.
  8. Additionally, I'd be interested in the dimension of this amp. I have a regular cab 1995 Ford Ranger and literally 1/2 inch of depth makes all the difference whether something can fit behind my passenger seat or not.
  9. I want to see one of them run on the SMD Dyno! I have a Skar 500.1D I'd consider upgrading if it was that much better.
