k well, friend gave me an old wedge he had laying around so i figured i'd take it off his hands but idk how big it is so, any help is appreciated.

Dimensions--with .75" wood

Width- ~22"

Top - ~4"

Back - ~16 1/4"

Bottom - ~9.5"

Front (wedge'd side with sub) - ~17 1/4"

Port (PVC pipe) - 3"Diameter 8" long

I got .91867 before port displacement

what i got too....

so figure in about .08 for sub displacement (pretty standard for a medium sized sub).

the port is about .04 (asumming the port is flush with the side of the box and the pvc has a thickness about about .25")

so net volume should be in the neighborhood about around .8 cubes tuned around 48-49hz....now since i dont know the exact displacement of the sub this may be off slightly but if it were me.....

i would just cap that port off altogether cuz .8 cubes @ 50hz aint gonna sound good in any situation.

what if i cut the pipe down? will that lower the tuning? if say i cut like, half port down? so 3" pipe, 4 inch deep?

cutting the length of the pipe would raise tuning...the only way to lower tuning in your case with the existing box would be to go with a smaller port, but you are already too small so i would just seal it up man
