Dragonware
Recently downgraded from 4 cubes ported tuned to 32hz with dual 12 RE audio subs. To 2 cubes sealed. My amp was set Low pass at 35hz and sub sonic to 15hz. My question is my new setup is a sealed enclosure 2 cubes same subs. do I need to adjust my cross over settings on the amp now ? I have an epicenter which can mimic the bass that i use to get with the ported its still not as loud and I know its not an ideal situation but what would be the best settings im using a Hifonics Brx 2000.1D My Build log : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/170934-dragonmobile-re-audio-2300rms-stealth-build-08-focus/ Current System 2020 Ford F-150 XLT Supercrew Audio Control Epicenter Audio Control LC7i Taramp PRO 2.6 DSP Taramp DS4x800 - Highs Taramp HD3000.1 Mids Taramp MD5000.1 Bass 8 x DS18 6.5 Pro x6m - mids 2 x Soundsteam SST-05 Bullet Tweeter 2 x DS18 TW220 Super Tweeters 4 X SkarAudio EVL-8 BASS Big 3 Yellow Top
MotorCityFats13
lowpass at 35hz? why do you want to limit the output at that low of a note? most people are very happy with LP set at 80hz and subsonic at 20hz..... you are really cutting most of your usable bandwidth because im sure your door speakers/midbass cant make up for this
Kyblack76
And a infrasonic set at 15hz is useless Especially tuned at 32hz. But, if it sound good to you, have at it. I suggest doing the same thing on the sealed enclosure your now running. Set where it sounds good to you.
