Apeterson26
Hey all I was wondering if anyone has or can design some plans for Dual Sundown SA-10's in ported box under the back seat of 2010 f150 xlt supercrew. I am doing a seat lift to accomodate the designs. I am looking for the design mainly because I can build the box myself I have everything to do it with (almost). Ron36
Won’t fit tried myself, ended up doing 3 in a sealed box under seat with seat lift 2022 Ford Maverick on 22’s Skar SK1500.1 on 4 Skar VD-8’s Mids Sundown Super tweeters, Skar TX 6.5 components on Skar SKM400.4 LC2 for audio control , XS Power D680 XS Series Extra Battery
Apeterson26
how come they wouldnt fit, if you can get 3 in a sealed box? Maybe i made a mistake but ive been drawing a box in OnShape and everything seems to be working out.
Ron36
Port takes up all the space, the only way to make it work would be to make an external port that goes up the rear seat back . Sealed box is .7cu each chamber for 2 ported need 2.50cubes Plus port the math just doesn’t work. Sorry man and if I’m not mistaken the new SA’s don’t won’t a sealed box but I could be wrong, might need to find older models. 3 SA’s sealed still slams though. 2022 Ford Maverick on 22’s Skar SK1500.1 on 4 Skar VD-8’s Mids Sundown Super tweeters, Skar TX 6.5 components on Skar SKM400.4 LC2 for audio control , XS Power D680 XS Series Extra Battery
Ron36
I’m guessing your box would have to be around 3.5cubes internal to fit speaker displacement and port displacement. 2022 Ford Maverick on 22’s Skar SK1500.1 on 4 Skar VD-8’s Mids Sundown Super tweeters, Skar TX 6.5 components on Skar SKM400.4 LC2 for audio control , XS Power D680 XS Series Extra Battery
Apeterson26
Man i bought 2 sa-10s to replace 2 p3sd2-10 shallow mounts, and i fell for the rookie prefab fox box. The sa-10s arent much louder if at all. Disgusted with it.
