Certified vs uncertified vs dynamic

Knobs to the left . . . just a bit.

All my music from itunes (gave up on illegal sources a few years ago) is pretty evenly leveled in that regard.

My SCV-2000D remote knob clipping light is pretty spot on with the DD-1 so i just keep an eye on it.

that makes absolutely 100% no sense at all. Whoever told you that, stop taking advice from the IMMEDIATELY.  There is NO benefit to doing that.
