Isroufe Posted January 21, 2018 Report Posted January 21, 2018 So I just sold my HDC3.110 today... Before that I had a couple Treo 10's and before that I had a 9510... see the pattern? I am thinking of getting a 15" or 18" now just to change things up and hit more lows with more authority. I am taking out a rear seat in my F-150 and will have up to 5-6 ft^3 net to play with once I do. Whatever I get will be pushed by my M1c. My budget cap for a sub is $300 thus I am thinking a HDC3.115 (the 18" is only available with dual 1 coils) or a Fi SSD 15 or 18. While browsing today I ran into some talk (can't remember where) about the HDC's getting loud but struggling a bit with low end output. Their fs is 49 which seems high for a 15... so is there some truth to that? Not trying to start a vs. just wondering what would give me more low end bang for my buck for this specific situation and open to any other suggestions from the homies...
