box design help

I have a 2010 tahoe. max dementions 39 long x49 width x 23 high. the subs are 4 18 fp4 v1s. powered by 2 Orion hcca 5000.1d spl amp.

Some guys just give complicated advice, use to be a guy that gave solid designs out fast but he doesn't post much anymore. But someone will help steer you in the right direction, just give it time.

You don't have enough room for four 18"s,  its not even close.  You have plenty of room for two 18"s though.

No, it isn't.  You don't even have enough room to give the subs 4 cu ft each.  

With a box that size, and with the amount of power you are going to be running, you are going to want to double layer the walls.  That gives you   23.64 cu feet of gross internal space, the subs take up a little over 1 cu ft, a port big enough to handle the power you have is going to take up around 7 cu ft.  That already puts you under 16 cu ft of net airspace left.

Get 15"s instead of 18"s, or run less subs.  Three 18"s would fit, but that's going to be less than ideal to power with two amps.
