Just wanting everyone's input on which works better. A battery or a capacitor? I already have a 10 farad capacitor to run it so can I just add a battery, or do I need to toss the cap and install battery alone? Also what is that thing called that you use to split your power cable to 2 seperate amps, and also what I use to split RCA's to 2 seperate amps? This is my first time using multiple amps.

With the RCAs your going to want to have two different runs from the back of your HU

if that is not an option you can get "Y" splitter cables for your rcas that will work fine as well.

for power and ground wires you can get a distro block that works with your size wiring.

if it were my setup i would add the bat and ditch the cap

Wire the capacitor in parallel with the batteries. And i would use both. Have a power wire running from the battery into a distribution block and have another one running into the capacitor and then into the distribution block. That way the amp can pull from the batteries and the cap at the same time. I once followed the instructions on a Power Acoustik cap and ran it in series with my battery.. didnt work out to well, fried the cap

PS: as for batteries any deep cycle battery will do just fine.. same with marine/RV batteries, i have them and work great
