Component speakers use a hpf or run full range

Have a set of focal 165 krx2 components should you use a hpf or just run full range? I’m running the passive. The crossover has a hpf option and full so I take it full is safe?

Well if the deck is capable of doing a HPF then run the HPF off the deck an not the amp, that way you have more control and more set points.

Using the passive crossovers you will want to set it for full range or you will cut off lower frequencies.
