Physical is actual length of the wood from end to end... Port length is the actual center of the port. Port length is longer. Google port length pictures.

Oddly enough I like the way my boxes sound. would the longer port just mean less out-put and lower tuning? Anyway thanks for being so patient and answering all my stupid questions. I'll start building today and post some pictures of I can figure out how to post them.
