house Posted November 11, 2018 Report Posted November 11, 2018 I'm doing a pretty big build on a 2012 F150 Harley-davidson 6.2 . 2 19 4th order blowthrough in bed of truck. 4 sets of Focal es 165 kx2 and 1 set of focal es 165 kx3, 2 rockford p3sd2-8 , 2 RockfordT1000.4 and Rockford t600.2, 2 rockford 2500 bd soon to be 4 , iPad pro 12.9, Sony rsx-gs9, headunit, 3 sixty.3 and 4 batts Mechman 370 alt. As of now I have around 8 to 12 Cubs to work with .(Max dimension 21"h x 49.5" w x 24" D ,up to what is needed max would be 42") Any help would be appreciated.
YukonXL04 Posted November 12, 2018 Report Posted November 12, 2018 Well you wont be doing a 4th order... you'll be lucky to get them in a normal ported box. Most 18s want 6-7 cubes net each. house Posted November 12, 2018 Author Report Posted November 12, 2018 Ok so before woofer displacement and bracing min it comes out to 12.187 Cft (internal 19.5x48x22.5)single baffle also I could go (19.5×48×34.5) which would be18.6 cft which I would have room for double baffle as well as more bracing. Only issue in having is I do not want to cut out the hole back wall to allow for the bass to come through for the blowthrough. So what are my option and which is best. Do 1 and put both 2500 on one 19 and do a 4th order or 6th. Or find a way to get the ported 2 to work. Also what we ould be the minimum needed for a 4th with 2. Thanks in advance for the help.
