My first thought was the vfl, AB has never let me down, but those hippos look like they handle business! Actually about to put 4 of the 6.5 s under my buddies rear seat of his f250 super duty. Was kind of waiting to see how they sounded before i decided. Still on the edge about the single 10, cause 2 vfls would not only look awesome ( i got a thing about shit being symmetrical)  but 2 8s have more cone area.  Thanx lol, now i gotta go through the pros and cons all over again!

if those 4 6.5s are in a ported box to spec, you're gonna be surprised!

What do u think about db drive wdx8?  "Handles" twice the power of almost every other 8 ive seen. Probably gonna have to settle for one sub at a time so gotta make em good ones.

What does power handling have to do with quality?

Look through the 100's of build threads on this site how many used DB drive??

Power handling has alot to do when my amp is way over powered, but couldnt find shit about thise db drive subs, no real info on the site so i just went with what i knew was good quality and ordered the vfls  will wire em to 4ohm and give em 1k and they should be happy untill i eventually get 2 more.  But yeah ur right, even if it can handle crazy power doesnt mean its gonna sound good or last.
