3 10’a vs 4 8’s

Let’s just get down to it, 3 10’s or 4 8’s? They would be close to the same spec in the end and same size box.

Would a general sz thread be considered a vs thread? I thought it was brand A vs brand B type of vs threads that weren't allowed?

Slightly more cone area with 3-10s. More of a traditional bass sound also imo. 8s do ok but 10s sound better on the low end. I've heard 8s pound pretty good but the lows aren't that great. Just my opinion.

Three 10"s every day of the week and twice on Sundays.  With an 8" sub the size of the coil and the size of the spider are competing with each other for the same space.
