Medium duty HO alternator?

Recommended Posts

Probably a bit of an odd question but, does anybody know of anyone making HO alternators, and/or dual alt brackets, for a 2006 Chevy Kodiak c7500 with the 7.8l Duramax (aka 7.8l Isuzu 6h series)? I'm picking up the truck below in 2 weeks and I'm planning a small build when I redo the sleeper.

I talked with Mechman and they don't. I'm also waiting on a reply from Iraggi? Mechman said I might have to just keep the stock alt for the Kodiak side, and add a dedicated alt for the system. I'm crossing my fingers there's an HO option somewhere to keep it easy though.

He's a one man operation, from customer service to building and shipping.

He gets up at 330 am to answer hundreds of inquiry's and hits the shop at 730-8 am

He got back with me... Looks like we have a winner, thanks!!!

Don't feel bad Michigan,  got mine last week, but I didn't spring for fancy colors or billet case.

.but my alt isn't visible from the engine compartment, it's tucked away user the car and slightly visible when you change the oil.

I have to pull axel to get it on. Fun fun fun.
