AI James Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 the :L7s will be loud enough in the right boxes, just was saying cutting it down to 1 sub kinda isnt a big thing for daily, just turn the volume down lol Quote
Crazy4CarAudio Posted December 6, 2006 Author Report Posted December 6, 2006 So then I should stay with the 2 - 15" L7's with a ZX 2500.1 amp? This way I could still have other subs down to 1 ohm later on, and have all the digital stuff. But the ZX is the cheaper way to go Quote
Ernesto Posted December 6, 2006 Report Posted December 6, 2006 Trust me on this one: Two 15" L7s ZX2500.1 It will get loud enough for you, trust me Quote
Crazy4CarAudio Posted December 6, 2006 Author Report Posted December 6, 2006 ok, I guess I'll have to do it that way. But I don't think you can say it will be loud enough for me, ! Quote
SoloKicker Posted December 6, 2006 Report Posted December 6, 2006 get dual 4's and run at 1 ohm = a LOT more power Quote

I think it will, you were saying one would do for daily. If you have an SUV and want some box plans that will get crazy loud let me know :^ Quote
Ernesto Posted December 6, 2006 Report Posted December 6, 2006 get dual 4's and run at 1 ohm = a LOT more power I wouldn't suggest that for him especially for daily driving. Quote
SoloKicker Posted December 6, 2006 Report Posted December 6, 2006 why not? you can get a lot more power for free? Ive installed/ ran MANY of the zx series at half rated impedence, not a single prob. Granted, youll need a batt in the back, but you prolly would need that at 2 ohms anyways. Quote

I've done it before with my Orion 2500ds, I ran @.5ohm but if it blows your screwed.Plus I doubt he'll be able to run it @1ohm all day long. Maybe a few minutes, but for daily driving every day I don't think it will last for ever. Quote
SoloKicker Posted December 6, 2006 Report Posted December 6, 2006 Trust me, kicker will warrantee it in a heartbeat. They really stand behind their products, one of the few companys that will warantee pretty much all blown equiptment no questions asked. Quote
