Newb question

So i have a question that may sound pretty stupid to some but caught my curiosity. Lets say my amp isa class d mono 2500wrms and im using 2 subs on it does each sub get the full 2500 or is the 2500 split between the two?

The amp is a power acoustik 8k rated at 2500wrms at 2ohm pushing 2 power acoustik mofos-12dvc4 wired 2 (subs rated at 1200wrms each 2500wmax) maxing sure the amp will be sufficient to run both subs at what they need and not be to much for the

this amplifier should be enough . subs can't live at their max power more then 1-2 seconds

I dont wanna run em at max but also dont want it to be to weak for the subs and them not get sufficient power as of now they are currently in a shit box and hooked to a American bass sq945 1200w amp that is rated at 600wrms at 4ohm and the amp isnt enough gain is turned up maybe a cunt hair and cuz anything past that i get clipping and the subs just seemed starved so i just got the amp off a freind yesterday and plan to hook it up asap
