1point21gigawatts
I’m running a pair of aluminum dual 1/0 awg inputs in my amp and am thinking of buying a pair of dual 1/0 awg copper inputs for $60. But is it worth it? I will only gain about .1 or .2 of a dB. I know that the wires are the main thing to worry about and inputs and terminals aren’t as important. I know that copper will look better and I’ll gain .1 or .2 of a dB, which isn’t audible, but the downside will be that the copper is heavier and more expensive. More conductive, but the piece is so minimal Idk if it’s worth it. But yeah, long story short, would you spend $60 and buy copper inputs? “How can we help you?” “And don’t forget to tell them that the customer isn’t always right.”
SkarredSierra
How do u know youll gain anything? Imo no they arent worth it unless number chasing. The voltage increase youd see is nill. Think about it. When was the last time you seen an amp with copper terminals?
AaronT
I was asking same question to brand x in regards to my battery terms. Said it's a waste of money, it won't do anything but look copper as opposed to aluminum
