Aeroport Help

So I am feeling lazy and am thinking about using aeroports instead of building a port. Dont really know how much port area to use. Going to be 2 12" l7s in a 4.5-5 ft2 enclosure. Dont know exactly cause its all fiberglass and havent finished yet. I was thinking of doing 2 4" ports but dont know if that would be enough. Thanks for the help guys

ok so now im thinking about going with three 4" areoports anyone see a problem with that, will there be much port noise, im sure someone has done something close to this

three will work but is not best case scenario.

4.5cuft w 14sqin of per per cuft = 63sqin of port for the single chamber.

2*2*pie= 12.5sqin of port per 4" pipe

63/12.5 = 5.04

so five 4" pipes will get you 14sqin of port per cuft assuming its net 4.5 internal.

less will work, but port velocity will increase with potential for noise

thanks alot guys, i have a lot to think over, hate port noise, have to buy another sheet of wood just for sub rings, so i will have to figure it out. starting next weekend so i will post pictures
