1point21gigawatts
What kind of vehicle is it going in and where in that vehicle and what type of amp? “How can we help you?” “And don’t forget to tell them that the customer isn’t always right.”

1point21gigawatts
That might be a little too much amp for that subwoofer. Have you bought the amp yet? Have you bought the subwoofer yet? “How can we help you?” “And don’t forget to tell them that the customer isn’t always right.”
AaronT
You listed t line, then ported and 4ths. The T-Line dies not peak, it plays flat (if done right) IMHO the x8 is not a T-Line candidate. I'd say 4th, you have a good bandwidth with that and you can tune ported side low.

Pieter
thank you just not sure if a 4th order will fit in the boot space though
1point21gigawatts
Just put that subwoofer in a regular ported enclosure. Sub back, port back. And a 4th order enclosure could fit it that car easy. You would have to put the back seats down for the blow through to breathe and when the back seats are up the blow through (which would be facing forward) wouldn’t be able to breathe, so turn the subwoofer off when the back seats are up. But if you don’t wanna do that then do a regular ported enclosure with subwoofer and port facing back towards. the trunk hatch. You would have to recone it after awhile of bumping on that soundigital 3k. So be conservative on the amps gain and don’t clip, AT ALL. “How can we help you?” “And don’t forget to tell them that the customer isn’t always right.”
