JakeW
How often do y’all do it to make sure they’re still good? I’ve read different numbers online like -0.5 to +0.5 ohm is good range.... and I’ve also read something like 80% under is good. Of course they “should” ohm under the designated impedance rating.... im just curious y’all’s experience. Dc lvl 4, 1 older from about July, and 1 newer from a few weeks back that I’ve been breaking in. Both are 2ohm DVC. sub #1 coils 2.1 & 2.2, series is 2.8 ohm. Sub #2 coils 1.9 & 2.1 but in series 4.1. Both wired together in series 1.5 stable. Amp is 2 ohm so I’m good with that!! Tell me your thoughts!! What’s good what’s bad? ‘16 ram. Net Audio. Taramps. 1point21gigawatts
That one subwoofer is a 1.4ohm version. That md5000.1 2ohm should hold up on that alternator and batteries at 1.5-1.6 if you don’t play for a long time and get the amp hot too much. “How can we help you?” “And don’t forget to tell them that the customer isn’t always right.”
