pk222
cheep as possible to what ever will work lol. thanks for looking those specs up for me and the amps. and letting me know about the 2 ohms on the kicker amp, didnt think about that. O and also I was thinking about porting my box for the hx2s. I heard this is a really bad idea and they will blow very fast, is this true? I have 2 10s and the box is 2.389 cu ft before displacement and I was thinking of using a 4 in aero port tuned to around 35 hz, would that sound better than sealed? pk222
o k good I was thinking about porting them today. but instead of using actual aero port I would be using a piece of 4 in abs tubing, would this be ok? I heard that it should be ok because of the larger diameter tubing I wouldnt get port noise. I can change it later if it dosent sound good I just wanted to see how it would sound ported and if it sounded bad I would block it off. but I was told that was a mojor not to do lol that it would get too much movement and over excursion and just seize up. I thought that was kinda weird. dont be sorry you've already helped me with a lot of choices and found the specs for my subs which I haven't been able to find. pk222
k I used a port calculator and thinking of using the 4 in port and going 10.5 in deep because thats what the port calculator said should be around 35 hz, should i tune lower?
