Personally I think the box mustn't be right for it... based on the excursion it seems like it should be a fair bit louder than the video makes it appear to be.

That enclosure is 1.6cuft too big. Port that thing, or make a new enclosure.

so your saying that 15'' sub should be in 1 cu ft for sealed? fi's site says minimum 2 cu ft

My bad when i first replied. I thought it was a 12", saw the vid and noticed it was a 15"

You are right, optimal is around 2.0-2.6cubes though

What do you find lacking? if its new give it some time to bed in, it'll sound whole lot different.

why would you base your opinion on how it sounds by looking at a youtube video? sounds like the same people telling me my system sounds all distorted on my videos when it is clearly the camera and there is no way to tell exactly what it sounds like.

id be more then happy to answer that question when you find where in any of my posts i say it doesnt sound right? i said i wasnt impressed..not doesnt sound right..BIG difference HOMIE

btw any fool who says subs sound distorted on video has never filmed subs before..so that doesnt really need to be addressed..

did u guys see how close the top of the box was to the hatch?

they basically sealed it off the wrong way...and in order for the pressure to get into the front it has to go through the box...

its still hard to tell if something sounds "right" on camera, especially if its a shitty camera.

hows your 3 18's sound? do they sound "right"? All the Q's i heard did....but they have all been in good boxes too though..
