All my previous builds were on the spl side i recently brought a new vehicle and i said to myself lets stray away from flexing windshields and try something new, so i gave SQ a shot. My equipment are, a jl jd 400.4, a pair of resilient sounds es65c and a pair of arc audio x2 slik domes. The 6.5s play 100-2500hz 24db slope and the tweets play 2500 all the way up,24db slope,headunit is a 80prs. Haven't added a sub yet,but i have a 10" in mind to play from 100hz down. All gains set with a dd1 and -5db tones,and doors deaden alottt. Well,u guessed, i quickly got tired of that and i miss the louder music, if i open my doors and turn the volume up, the mids quickly sounds muddy unless i cross them at about 160hz or higher, only then it sounds ok.
