Mattc43
Hey guys I am building a 6th order right now and I’m having issues with my surround just barely touching the baffle. I’m inverting two platinum 18s and I have a triple layered baffle (it’s cut to the 16.75” cutout diameter RS recommended). It’s really pissing me off and I’m about to say f*ck and leave em as be so I can continue finishing this wall. Any suggestions would help
Kyblack76
Just chamfer the edges. You should on any baffle (rear of driver). Do it on the mount side when inverting. Chamfering has shown gains all around. You, and anyone should be doing that anyway. For you, instead of the back side of the baffle, do the mount side. Done.
