Kapetol T
Well my friend has a 2006 Ford Fusion and we replaced the 4 stock 5x7's with some nice new Alpines. When the volume is more than about half way up and the bass kicks in, the treble gets really quiet. We are still running them with the stock head unit (I know I know thats dumb) and I was just wondering why that happens. It it a problem witht he electrical that we would need to upgrade before we put an amp in?

Mosin
I thought on factory HU's, they were programmed to have less quality at higher volumes, especially when the bass is turned up. Have you tried it with the bass turned down? Upgrading the factory sh*t is a must! Derp.
