Help Finding Some 2/0 Accessories

Recommended Posts

Well Im almost convinced about using 2/0 wiring for all of my system.

Does anyone know where I can find some Ring terminals that will fit 2/0 copper wire in a variety of hole sizes like 3/8, 1/2, and 5/16"

And also does anyone know where I can find a distribution block that will take 2/0+ wiring and size it down to 1/0 so that I can input that into my amplifiers?

And of course any other 2/0 accessories

Thanks in advance all!

Designing, building, and shipping boxes. Yahoo IM - kingsuv00If the listening level is too loud, please inform the driver, so he can promptly pull over, and let you out.

not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it. :)

You can pick up 2/0 lugs at any local welding supply store.

Here's the RF 2/0 fuse holder I used to use.

Hot damn that is a sexy fuse block.

Looks like this is going to be harder than i thought to find stuff lol. I may just go with some 1/0 for now since this isnt like a 20k rms build. If I go with 1/0, i will be doing two runs of it to the batt in the back and other places so i should be fine i guess.

There are plenty of options for using 2/0 wire.

There is just less junk gear to choose from. You have to understand when using a higher caliber wire that it means you can't go cheap on any part. There is nothing wrong with using 2/0 into a simple 2 post fuse holder with 2 1/0 wires coming off it. Actually I wouldn't trust pulling a true 300 amps through one of those 2 post holders anyway. I can show you some that are rated up to 750 amps.

If you want fancy, flashy, cheap parts then use smaller wire cause 2,3,4/0 is serious business

Oh, im shooting for fancy or flashy, afterall, its in a trunk lol. Looks come after performance.

But like you are saying as far as expenses, it might just be better off if i do the 1/0 now that i think about it. I mean im a college student only working during the summer making 300$ a week and 40$ every tuesday night when school is in at a chinese restaurant.
