ok, so when wiring a system with multiple remotes....how or what is the best way to connect multiple remotes or "where" i guess would be a better question....like where to splice or connect or what...probably another stupid question...but thanks in advance for the help

cant you just go from

HU --> 1st amp --> 2nd amp --> etc with one wire?

thats how mine is with three in a row

Current Setup:

Factory HU with LOC

mids/highs-Insignia components

Sub- E8 in bass tube

Amp- sae-1200d

Show Setup:

HU-Sony MEX-1HD (brings massive respect for sony)

fronts - Infinity Kappa perfect comps

rears- Infinity Kappa coax

mid/high amp - Autotek 5600

Subs - 2 RE SE 15's

Sub Amps - 2xSAE-1200D

Box - 5cubes sealed

Wire- Lots of Knu 1/0

cant you just go from

HU --> 1st amp --> 2nd amp --> etc with one wire?

ive heard to do that but i wasnt sure...just trying to find the right answer

You'd need to get a 12v relay since daisy-chaining multiple amps off the remote turn-on from the head-unit WILL strain it and after a while, it'll stop working.

cant you just go from

thats the way i did it. 4 amps and a crossover. but iwould highly recommend a relay. as soon as i get the 7 bucks i will rewire. it is much safer with a relay in there

My car is still fine over a year later. Soon, for the sake of not using all my amps when i'm just cruisin on the highway, i'm going to run individual remote wires off the HU [mines factory] and put a switch on each wire to control each amp individually.

alright thanks guys for all the help, im just getting everything "down" i guess you could say so i dont screw up...im fixing to start on my first BIG build....any by BIG i mean big for myself nothing insane like you guys.....YET! :P
