Supplier #1: "99% copper.  1% impurities, not CCA, but not 100% OFC"

2 Awg - 624/30 strand count, 0.418" OD, 0.060" average wall. @$2.30 /ft

2/0 Awg - 1196/30 strand count, 0.553" OD, 0.080" average wall. @$4.10 /ft

Supplier #2: "30 gauge copper stranding"

2 Awg - 12/52/0.010 stranding strand count, 0.420" OD, 0.060" average wall. @$3.50 /ft

2/0 Awg - 19/65/0.010 stranding, 0.586" OD, 0.080" average wall. @$6.40 /ft

Supplier #3: "Is made of Pure OFC (Oxygen Free Copper"

2 Awg 2,989 strands, 1/2″ OD, @ $5.00 /ft

2/0 Awg 5,929 strands 11/16″ OD, @9.50 /ft

For battery relocation to trunk,

145A AC Delco alt to battery will be 2 awg for 15 feet length

Aftermarket starter to battery supplier recommends 2/0 Awg for 10+ feet length

Am I correct in that the way to go is supplier #3 to avoid cranking issues?  Are prices seen in #3 the typical prices of good quality cable?

#1 will be problematic and less flexible than #3, no?

I've been using 2/0 & 3/0 Carolprene branded welding cable for years with zero complaints
