Making the edges smooth

I bought a Craftsman all-n-one tool that's suppose to function as a router. I'm I supposed to use a straight edge to make sure it routers evenly? Do you smooth the edges before or after the enclosure is assembled? Thx

What about using a straight edge. I've seen vids of folks free hand and it looks great. Does work like that for me

dunno what that is, but if it accepts a normal router bit you can free hand your round overs, you could even free hand your sub cut outs, but for sub holes I prefer a jasper jig.
