ptcary
Getting to work on the outside bracing on my little wall in the PT, and want to know everyones opinions on which is stronger a few 2x4"s or just another layer of MDF. Here is the space I have to work on, I am not concerned about the front birch piece facing forward, but the actual wall of the box? banginAltima
Go for square tubing instead of 2x4's. If you build it, db's will come... No metal tubing here. I don't think I really need much more bracing, but figure since I have some left over wood, those sides might as well get it. banginAltima
Sorry, I work in a plant that only uses metal so its the first thing I think of.... plus I get a discount. I can pick up tubing for almost the same cost of 2x4's. If you build it, db's will come... NSPL World Record Holder Trunk 0-1800 watts---147.9 with 1722 clamped watts @ 40Hz(9-20-09).
