G_Fresh Posted June 1, 2008 Report Posted June 1, 2008 This happened to me before.. Make sure no wires are touching your chassis.

missinglink Posted June 1, 2008 Report Posted June 1, 2008 RCA's may be loose or touching something. Before when I swapped out alts I got mad engine noise. After some testing found out its in the Poopy regulator used in the alt and the lack of noise suppression. But not that kinda sound. Sounds more like component's than alt, but it is electrical!!!!! You have good grounds to frame? Does it get louder or higher with your RPM's? Shouldn't affect a module any! MLA missinglinkaudio The United States Marine Corps. When it absolutely, positively has to be destroyed overnight - even if "it" belongs to the base commander...
flashlight_65 Posted June 1, 2008 Author Report Posted June 1, 2008 it just started recently My builds: my caddy my 'hoe friends impala

flashlight_65 Posted June 17, 2008 Author Report Posted June 17, 2008 Try grounding the alternator with 1/0 to the - terminal of the battery. would that create any issues and would i have to fuse that as well? My builds: my caddy my 'hoe friends impala
