I would like to also know some cheaper 18's that are bang for the buck. I want to do a wall with two and like 1000 to 1500 rms.

I dont have any subs to sell you but just wanted to let you know that perfecting a box with a mach 5 probably wont help that much when you change to the dc.

recommended box sizes for the mach 5 18 are 2.8 sealed 4.5 ported to 30 hz

the recommendation on the dcs are 5.75 cu ft ported.

I know you probably aren't going to stick with the recommendations from the manufacture but judging by that and their specs they will require different boxes to sound their best.

The box is going to be ~6 ft and isn't a normal "Ported" box.

Actually, there is no box.

Dang for that price of 117 a piece and they look nice and 600rms. the only thing is that they only come in single 4 ohms and single 8 ohms. Do you think If I were to purchase two of them and put them in a 10 cubic foot wall tuned to 30 hertz and wire them together into a 2 ohm load and run them off a crunch ground pounder 2500d at 2 ohms would I be loud, and shakin the shit outta things and hurtin ears I am ready to do a wall.
