Kinetic 2000 Or 2400?

2007 chevy cobalt stock alternator upgraded to Big 3.

Crunch GP 3000.

is a Kinetic Hc 2000 enuff for back up, or do I need a 2400?

I'd like the 2000 just for price reasons, would this be safe?

opinions please.

I can't afford a 200 amp alternator.

most likely I'd run the amp at 2 ohms.

I would really go with the 2400 to be safe and maybe a bigger bat up under the hood also that amp pulls 300 amps wich is alot for even just 1 2400 with the stock alt

how much you paying for that kinetik 2000 model? you can probably get a power master basttery thats strong for equal or less here

you can never over do it..and i would pick the d3100 over the kinetik hc2000 ive heard much better things about the power master..look at it this way..if steve's using them in his 30k watt system then you know they will hold up well for your needs..lol
