I played baseball I took a couple of shots to the balls, I have 6 kids, they still work just fine. now I have had 6 or 7 ruptured ear drums, they hardly work anymore, trust me (someone who is partially deaf) you would much rather take a shot in the nutz then get a ruptured ear drum, they never fully heal, and you will have issues the rest of your life.
