anklebiter611
ok i have a 12" 2 ohm dvc kicker solo x lately its been acting up. and yesterday like the actual sub would rattle when it hit. so i shut it off. today i was testing the ohm load, and it read at 2 ohm instead of 1 ohm so i took it out and one of the coils will not give me a reading at all. what does this mean and how do i fix it? All Night Long
Check and see if you might have either burnt or snapped a tinsel lead. This has happened to me before and was the reason for my dual 1's that were in series and then parallel not reading a 1 ohm load. They were reading a 2 ohm load and I took the sub out of the box and found that the tinsel lead was broken and repaired it to fix the problem.
