The next GTR is being released in the US, so it wont cost any extra to import it.

you mean the infinity g35 look alike? meh ill pass on that those are cheaper too id rather take an r34 GTR vspecII Nur than one of those ill buy an infinity if i wanted that look

if they were both 1000hp, a big clunky big block 427, with 800-1000hp matched up with same hp on a half the weight v6/I6 twin turbo, and Iam sure the Skyline is a few hundred lbs lighter, but still, that Linger has a 0-60 of 1.6/1.8sec, and a top speed over 200mph.... I think the Skyline has a weight advantage, and the awd advantage, but the Lingen is just faster on the line.... Ofcourse american cars are great on oval tracks, but the Skyline would kill the vette on street race, or where the race has lots of sharp turns... But I think the topic was based more on realistic raceing, stock to stock, or moderate upgrades... And I thought a true Skyline was illegal in US?   It is in Cali last I heard

I only Read about the Lingenfelter Vette back in 05' at a magzine stand, and was amzed with its performance. Maybe its not the same, because why would a 800hp upgraded vette be slower than a 500hp upgraded vette? What the hell was I reading- But they did compare its speed to a take off speed of a F-18, like in that ad, infact faster than the take off speed of the jet

yea check out the motor trend vid i showed on page 3 thats the lingenfelter that went agaisnt an f18 its fastest quarter was 9.18 but im sure if they had a better launch they could get into the 8s

I've seen a drag race against a R-33 vs a Mclearn F1. The Skyline smoked the car at the biggining :w00t: :w00t:. Then the skyline lost :angry03: :angry03:. Stupid idiots. :angry03:

nissan owns infintiy i think  but they stopped making the skyline in 03 forgive me lol because the underground racers loved to out run the cops there so the law took it up with nissan and they had to stop but i think there was a threat made..to make them stop  we will never know

yes infinity is a part of nissan but ya the skyline was never a us vehicle...
