mikethebassman Posted June 27, 2008 Report Posted June 27, 2008 i bought 3 DC lvl 3 15''s and dont know the right kind of box for them i want ported and i need 9 cu ft limited area im thinking two facing back and one facing up would 9 cu ft @30Hz be good? DC Sound Lab & Rockford Fosgate FTMFW you could turn it into quarters and put it in a pool. no one suspects a person of doin drugs with a pool full of quarters Between his box and gangsta lean, You gotta be a legless midget to sit back there
AI James Posted June 27, 2008 Report Posted June 27, 2008 imo 30 hz is a little low, unless your going to throw tones at them all day youll lose overall output. Try 32-35hz for everyday listening if you like lower sounding music, if you listen no music thats no lows even try as high as 37hz 9 cubes net should be fine for them though. im not really a fan of firing subs different ways also.
mikethebassman Posted June 27, 2008 Author Report Posted June 27, 2008 i didnt want to but i have 45inches across the area i have and all wont fit in a row i think the only way to have them fit is firing diff. ways DC Sound Lab & Rockford Fosgate FTMFW you could turn it into quarters and put it in a pool. no one suspects a person of doin drugs with a pool full of quarters Between his box and gangsta lean, You gotta be a legless midget to sit back there
