ChiTownTBird312
Seen one smoke on 10krms (hifonics maxximus) it tore the voicecoil in half and shredded it....coil was unwound and all! was pretty sick looking... kicker > alpine....the chincy plastic one the alpines is that exaclty cheap looking and feeling... and the kickers do more that rate power look better and kicker has a great warranty.....go to amp guts and look at the kicker amps and tell me "kicker amp I wouldn't do" and no offense ChiTown but bro your new to audio and you haven't even built a box so you really can't be giving suggestions.....my .02 no offense taken....and im not new to audio, im just new to this site. i have built boxes before, ive just never delt with fiberglass boxes before. and like i said...not going with kicker was just my personal preference and the alpine amp i had never did wrong by me. and i think i can give suggestions when i please, doesnt mean its neccesary to always take them into consideration, but i can. wL<3bass
no argument here....just voicing our opinions... yupIf your running stock speakers they are gonna distort real easy so if they arent aftermarket you may aswell invest $50-100 in some 6x9s or comps.
