techaninna
this is the box i had for my L7's http://caraudiofactory.com/20012007chevy-a...poly-p-270.htmlso you would recommend building a custom box? if i gotta do that i might just go all out on my avalanche and have somebody do some crazy shit to it because i have no know how/experience on buildint fiberglass boxes...and wouldnt have the patience for it. then ill just put the BTL's in my t-bird...but even then i would probably have to build a box...but it would be easier because i wouldnt need to fiberglass anything. i dont know yet....but the box you made for yours is nice as hell. i would want somethin like that for my truck...but i know nobody around here who would want to do it for me. I would recommend building a box. Avy's are hard to do IMO. You could build the box then have a shop do the trim piece (seal it off). I just think that if you were to order that box off caraudiofactory your BTLs would be starving for air space with only about 1cuft after displacement. And for the price of that box shipped you could get a shop to do it if you didn't want to do it yourself. Quote Rebuild coming soon
ChiTownTBird312
if i wanted to put them in my t bird do you think this box would sound nice? http://caraudiofactory.com/dual-transmissi...rted-p-126.html on the FI website it says for a ported box 1.75-3 cuft... That is per sub.... The box you posted is 2.20 total which is 1.1 per sub, then you gotta factor in sub displacement which is .18cuft. So after sub displacement your looking at .92cuft per sub. Your probably going to be better of having a box made either way IMO. Quote Rebuild coming soon
All Night Long
Here's a couple of pics of an install I did in an Escalade EXT, which is the same vehicle. The guy insisted on goin with JL, and I tried to talk him out of it but I couldn't. Oh well, it didn't sound bad at all but it could have gotten alot louder.
