BassHead7 Posted December 15, 2006 Report Share Posted December 15, 2006 any 1 tell me the best box to hit Lows really good. cuz thats the bass i like the bass that just shakes the fuck outa everything lol. ive heard many subs in slot ported boxes that get lows like a champ but my friend said sealed would work best for lows. so idk. andym85 Posted December 15, 2006 Report Share Posted December 15, 2006 umm...more like the longer the port the lower the bass. general rule of thumb is 12 square inches of port for every cubic foot of air in the box. tweak the depth to get your frequency. if its your first time, you are gonna have to do some reading up on the calculations or get in touch with ray or somebody for some box plans...
