Phoenix Gold Ms-275 Questions.

Ah, cool, yea, PSU was outputting 10.5-11v.

One of the RCA inputs on it has part of an RCA plug jammed in there.... >.<

Gonna be trying it in my friends truck hopefully this weekend.

If it's messed up, would I be able to send it to DB-R and they could repair it?

Not sure what DB-R is, I lived in Portland OR at the time I had my PG stuff so I just mailed it to Phoenix Gold (being a Portland based Company) I got my gear back fast and it never cost me anything in repairs :). Now that PG is owned by someone else now I dont know if they do repair work on those old schoolers.

Pretty sure that there might be places around (search the net) that service those old school amps infact I think I have information on a company that repairs only old school car audio amplifiers.

As far as the RCA's just pull the bottom off the amp and see if you can push out the broken part of the RCA plug from the back side of the Amps RCA input jack. They should be open ended on the back side.

for the ground switch on it, what do i set it to?

FLT or COM ?

also, how low of a voltage will the amp work till before it goes into protect?

i bet DBR could, they do pretty much everything

Current Setup:

Factory HU with LOC

mids/highs-Insignia components

Sub- E8 in bass tube

Amp- sae-1200d

Show Setup:

HU-Sony MEX-1HD (brings massive respect for sony)

fronts - Infinity Kappa perfect comps

rears- Infinity Kappa coax

mid/high amp - Autotek 5600

Subs - 2 RE SE 15's

Sub Amps - 2xSAE-1200D

Box - 5cubes sealed

Wire- Lots of Knu 1/0

oh ok.

it was switched to red when i first got it... no wonder it went into protect.

so leave it in yellow if i wanna run it on 11-12v? than switch it back to red once it's in a vehicle with a stable electrical system?
