EricR Posted December 15, 2008 Author Report Posted December 15, 2008 well there will be no updates today due to texas weather changing. 78 yesterday and 45 today i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?

EricR Posted December 22, 2008 Author Report Posted December 22, 2008 man this is alot of work.....by far the most complicated build ive ever done. as you can see in the pics...it fits. one slight problem, the way i have the baffle angled to fit the 18.5 inches, the magnet is resting right on the bottom of the box. now what im thinkging is when i add the second baffle on that will bring it out 3/4 inches so it might bring it off a little. my question is that if is still resting on the box is that a big deal, i mean the way i look at it is once the btl is screwed in place in a 1.5 inche baffle then having it resting on the box is actually giving it more support? idk you tell me. but anyways ive got the front and top cut and dry fitted to make sure i can fit it in the screw it in place. ive also got the slots made for my trunk bars when the trunk closes i just have to glue em together and screw them on. then some sort of bracing....will be last. first saz 1500d should be here tomorrow or tuesday then ill order another next week. i stopped working cuz it got dark and its FUCKING cold as shit. one of my boys came over and he said man who ever is sitting in your back seat is fucked. i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?
