wrathchild281 Posted July 4, 2008 Report Posted July 4, 2008 Hey guys a couple months ago i ordered dual 300 amp alts from Iraggi and also the bracket kit for it. Its for my 01 chevy tahoe and i threw one of the HO alts in my ride yesterday but couldnt figure out how to attach the bracket or the other alt. I have a feeling i may be missing something. If anyone can help me out it would be much appreciated. Also do i need to order another plug for the other alt? audiofanaticz Posted July 5, 2008 Report Posted July 5, 2008 Dont quote me on this, but just goto a salvage yard and try to find a matching plug and then wire it into the current plug connecting the corrisponding wires togetther. If the alts are both internally regulated (meaning your not running a external regulator) you have to have both alternators plugged in otherwise the unplugged alternator will make little to no affect on the charging system since it will not know how hard to work.
